This May 2025, ArcGen Academy students won all USA-based awards in the MIT Global AI Hackathon competition!

Youth Individual Category
Cody Li WON with RehabAI, which is an app that leverages advanced pose tracking and machine learning to accurately monitor, classify, and score physical therapy exercises, providing users with real-time feedback and guidance. This innovation empowers patients to recover safely and independently, all from the comfort of their own homes.
Youth Team Category
Thundering applause to Alan Zheng, Alina Zheng, Madeline Nie, Alec Zheng, and Isabel Lin with their honorable mention in the Youth Team Category with Kidney Buddy is the first AI-powered app designed specifically for Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) management, with a strong focus on making care more accessible and supportive—especially for seniors.
A big congratulations to Nomusa Gewbu, Victor Tang, and Ronald Zhao for receiving an Honorable Mention for their inspiring project, Ikigai for Teens! Rather than simply listing job options, Ikigai for Teens helps young people discover their purpose by combining self-assessment with insights into passion, skills, impact, and income. The app encourages users to reflect deeply, grow with intention, and build a meaningful path forward.
All Ages Team Category
Congratulations to Jaida Gao for earning an Honorable Mention for her impactful project, VisionCap! Developed using MIT App Inventor, VisionCap is a mobile app that’s part of an AI and IoT-enabled navigation system aimed at improving road safety. The project addresses UN Sustainable Development Goal 3.6, which focuses on reducing global road traffic deaths and injuries.
